The Guardia Civil has seized a total of 430 cans of soft drinks of different commercial brands in Coria (Cáceres). These products lacked the mandatory indications on the labeling, thus failing to comply with the current regulations which require that all the information appears, at least, in the official Spanish language of the State.
The inspection, carried out on September 25 in a store in this town, focused on verifying compliance with the safety and labeling conditions of the food products offered for sale, in accordance with Royal Decree 1334/1999 and Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, which regulate the food information provided to the consumer.
