At the end of last week, employees and occupants of the State Superior Court of Justice (TSJE) in Ciudad Juarez experienced tense moments when they mistook several soda cans for Molotov cocktails. A user approached the court, frightened to denounce that what she believed to be explosives had been left in her house, which was quickly denied by the TSJE spokesperson.
The defendant’s lawyer explained that her client had been frightened when she found these cans at the door of her home and transported them to the courtroom to testify to this fact.
