Tata Tinplate, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, announced new plans to try to double capacity at its tinplate line in Jamshedpur, India. After a three-year project, TCIL’s capacity at Jamshedpur will be increased to an incredible 679,000 tons / 2006 tonne total.

TCIL is embarking on this massive expansion program with the support of the parent company. This project is the result of the complete reduction of the price to the low changes. In addition, TCIL is the national leader in this market.

After completion of this project at Jamshedpur, the capacity will be 679,000 tons whereas before it was 379,000 tons at the current level. This word “food and beverage” is the main ultimate purpose of this new capability, and the drill yarns are used within hard work such as the processing industry. Expansion was due to strong demand from the sector

So projects to acquire new tinplate demand and redouble production by the industry promise some optimism. Next year, the company expects to open in other markets such as Indonesia, India, China and Brazil.
