VMI Group has reported that it has received a silver rating from EcoVadis for its progress in terms of sustainability.
The EcoVadis rating is a rigorous assessment of a company’s environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) practices. By earning the Silver Medal, VMI ranks in the top 15% among all companies evaluated by EcoVadis in 2023.
EcoVadis is an organization that assesses corporate sustainability globally. Its evaluation consists of analyzing 21 criteria related to the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. So far, they have rated more than 125,000 companies from different countries around the world.
According to VMI Group CEO Harm Voortman, sustainability is a priority issue in his company. “Sustainability is of paramount importance at VMI.
