Paris Packaging Week organizer Easyfairs has announced that its 2024 edition will be the largest yet, with more than 14,000 packaging experts expected at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
Some 14,077 packaging experts were present on the January 17-18 date, of which approximately 9,923 were visitors representing some 3,000 brands and design agencies, while a further 4,154 attended as representatives of the 637 exhibitors. The total number of attendees increased by 10.4% compared to the previous edition held in January 2023.
The event was attended by major French and international brands in the aerosol, beauty, beverage and luxury markets. These included companies such as LVMH, L’Oréal, Chanel, Gucci, Unilever, Estée Lauder, Pernod Ricard, Diageo and Rémy Cointreau.
According to Josh Brooks, who is in charge of organizing Paris Packaging Week events, there was a lot of activity and energy this time around. For him, this demonstrates the creativity and innovation that is constantly present in the industry.
“We are very fortunate to attract the highest level of packaging suppliers, specifiers and designers to the event and it was a real pleasure to bring this community together and play a part in creating the next generation of packaging. I would like to thank everyone who made Paris Packaging Week so special this year: our exhibitors, our visitors, our outstanding speakers and our many partners from schools, associations and media who support the event.”he said.
Along with showcasing hundreds of new products, more than 100 speakers gathered on the conference’s four stages, including brands such as The Smiley Company, L’Orèal, Guerlain, LVMH, Rèmy Cointreau, The Pentawards, Le Rouge Francais, (RE)Set, Kao, Beiersdorf, Berry Global, FEA and Coty. Design agencies, packaging suppliers and associations were also present.
During the ceremony, a total of 32 awards and 19 certificates were presented to recognize the world’s best packages in the prestigious ADF, PCD and PLD awards that stand out for their innovation.
