Vedanta Aluminum’s membership in the International Aluminum Institute strengthens its position in the global marketplace

Vedanta Aluminium has been accepted as a new member of the International Aluminium Institute (IAI). This company is the leading aluminum producer in India, with an output of 2.29 million tons in FY23, accounting for approximately 60% of all aluminum production in the country. With this, the company is positioned within the world’s top 10 producers of this important metal, considered the “metal of the future” due to its contribution to the global energy transition and its use in critical green technologies.
