The main feature of this product is its 100% recyclable container, in addition to its efficiency in keeping its contents refrigerated and its actions focused on inclusion.
In 2024, Minalba Brazil surprised with a novel launch: Indaiá mineral water in a 269 ml aluminum can, available in two options: sparkling and still.
With the slogan ‘In the can it’s even better’, the company highlights as distinctive features of the new product the efficiency in cooling the beverage by being in an aluminum can, in addition to sustainability, since aluminum is an infinite metal and 100% recyclable.
One of the most important innovations is inclusion, since the new aluminum cans include information in Braille on the lid, which promotes accessibility for more than 6.5 million people with visual impairment in Brazil. This figure is based on data from the latest census conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
“The can has been awaited by consumers as a new hydration option. Our ESG strategy has been perfectly aligned with several movements that highlight the importance of environmental care. One example is the initiative of the municipality of Jericoacoara, in Ceará, which passed a law banning the entry of plastic beverage bottles with capacity less than or equal to 510 ml,” said Aélio Silveira, president of Minalba Brazil.
The new product complements the company’s portfolio in the country, which continues with Minalba in 310 ml can, Minalba Gerando Falcões 269 ml and now Indaiá in 269 ml can.
Initially, the item will be available in different stores located in the Northeast, starting in Ceará and Pernambuco and then expanding to the other states in the area.
