Nivea India has selected Geetika Mehta as its new leader. She joins the company from her previous position as general manager at Hershey India, where she has been working since July 2021.

According to the company, Mehta brings with him a wealth of experience of nearly two decades at Hindustan Unilever, where he has worked in various divisions and held different responsibilities.

The organization recognized and admired Mehta’s successful career in FMCG, highlighting his expertise in growing small businesses and his ability to manage large corporations in diverse markets such as South Asia, Thailand, Brazil and South Africa.

The German company Beiersdorf owns the Nivea brand, as well as other brands such as Nivea deodorant spray, La Prairie and Hansaplast. In addition, Beiersdorf, through its subsidiary Tesa SE, is also known for producing specialized adhesive tapes and providing self-adhesive solutions for a variety of industries, companies and customers.

Speaking about his recent position, Mehta stated, “As we navigate the ever-evolving skin care landscape, my focus will be on driving innovation, enhancing the customer experience and further solidifying Nivea’s position as the skin care.”
