The Process Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) Nominating Committee selected Robert to serve as interim treasurer until March 1, 2024. The Board of Directors unanimously approved the nomination, and Robert will serve as treasurer until March 1, 2024, along with his continuing fiduciary responsibilities as a member of the Board. He has been nominated for the position of vice president, which will be voted on by the entire PEMA membership on March 1.

Robert strives to be actively involved in industry associations and has held several positions in PEMA. He is the President and CEO of Bunting®, a company named after his family. Bunting®, founded in 1959 by Walter Bunting in Chicago, is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnetic separators, metal detectors, material handling, magnetic cylinders for printing, magnets, magnetic assemblies and magnetizing equipment. The Newton, Kansas-based company has several locations, including Bunting-Elk Grove Village; Bunting-DuBois; Bunting-Berkhamsted and Bunting-Redditch in the United Kingdom; and Ningbo, China.
