OCONOMOWOC, Wisconsin – November 15, 2023 – ORBIS® Corporation, an international leader in reusable packaging, and Prairie Farms, a well-known farmer-owned dairy cooperative, have been awarded the QCS 2023 Cooperative Purchasing Collaborative Award for their continued collaborative efforts in developing a reusable cheese packaging and delivery system that prioritizes sustainable practices and product integrity.
The QCS Best Collaboration Award is a prestigious award that honors joint initiatives between a member and a supplier partner that have excelled in addressing industry challenges or achieving desired results. The award was presented at the QCS 2023 Annual Conference, held in Orlando, Florida, in October.
Since 1938, Prairie Farms has been committed to producing the highest quality fresh dairy products and exceeding the expectations of customers, consumers and partners. Recognizing the opportunity to improve product integrity, reduce waste and prevent contamination in the supply chain, Prairie Farms initiated a collaborative project with long-time partner ORBIS Corporation. The goal was to create a reusable packaging solution for the dairy industry, specifically designed to maintain product quality and safety.
