The multinational Novelis, a well-known aluminum rolling and recycling company, has achieved a new milestone in recycling in Brazil. Specifically, more than four tons of packaging were collected during The Town music festival held in São Paulo from September 2 to 10, The Town. During the event, approximately 4 tons of cans were collected.

This collection initiative was carried out by recyclers associated with Coopercaps, a selective collection cooperative with nineteen years of operation in the city. Then, after passing through the Novelis collection center in São Paulo, the packages will travel to Pindamonhangaba, in the interior of São Paulo, where the Novelis factory is located.

This plant is considered the largest integrated aluminum recycling and rolling complex in the world, with the capacity to reuse 500 tons of aluminum scrap annually.
