CPM, a leading provider of processing technology tools and equipment, announced that it has acquired IDAH. This merger brings together two industry leaders with the goal of achieving a better and sustainable world from a food perspective.
David Webster of CPM expressed his enthusiasm for the union of these two successful companies and the fact that their customers will be offered new solutions and services thanks to their complementary product portfolios.

IDAH, founded by James Chang in 1974, has evolved from a local product manufacturer to six locations around the world, serving more than twenty-one nations. This company focuses on extrusion, granulation and drying equipment for aquafeed, pet food, snacks and vegetable proteins. IDAH is among the best brands with a reputation for good products and technical service, the world’s leading supplier of shrimp equipment solutions and the leading aquaculture feed supplier in Southeast Asia.

The merger activities have started, where IDAH joins the CPM Process Solutions unit. The latter is a center that provides dedicated solutions especially for the human food, animal feed and advanced materials industries and is headed by Charlie Spearing. This unit is composed of several products such as Century Extrusion, Extricom, Ruiya, Wolverine Proctor, Planet Dryers, TSA Griddle Systems and IDAH.
Despite the change, CPM and IDAH will remain true to their purpose of offering the best quality of service to their customers. Therefore, those people who have already had contact with them will receive the same attention as before.
