Calvo Group joins the Sustainable Food Systems industry platform

The Sustainable Food Systems working group, which has been joined by the Calvo Group together with Foreticas and whose first day of work ended successfully, has started up.

Specifically, this is a sectoral working platform that aims to contribute to the sustainable transformation of food systems, based on the leadership of the private sector.

In addition to the collaboration of the Calvo Group, this first year, the initiative has the participation of the Cajamar Group as facilitator and promoter and a group of leading companies, such as The Heineken Company, Lactalis Group and Nestlé.

Key milestones for companies include driving ambition, promoting action and building alliances between companies and organizations in the food value chain. To contribute to the sustainability of the sector and its transformation in Spain in line with Vision 2050, to advance the business agenda in terms of the key transitions to be carried out as well as to evidence the commitment and results of Spanish companies in the areas of action planned for the 2020-2030 period.
