The #NossaCBA is now part of B3’s ISE. The Brazilian Stock Exchange’s Corporate Sustainability Index rigorously selects and rates companies that adopt the best sustainability practices.
This result reflects CBA’s commitment to sustainable mining from bauxite extraction to reclamation of mined areas and production processes for low-carbon aluminum manufacturing, as well as efforts to deliver positive results for society every day.
CBA was also the first primary aluminum company to achieve an A rating in the CPD classification. “We have been recognized as one of the best companies in the world in climate change management. In an unprecedented result in the aluminum sector, we achieved the highest score in the CDP, one of the world’s leading sustainability evaluators,” the company said.
This recognition connects with the creation of Alennium, CBA’s new sustainable aluminum label, reinforcing our commitment to the world to supply low-carbon aluminum.
