Roeslein & Associates recently sponsored a flying trip called Lone Eagle Honor organized by The Honor Flight Network. The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans regardless of their geographic location in the United States can participate in the Honor Flight.
In addition, the Honor Flight Network provides U.S. veterans the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served the country. All honored veterans travel at no cost to the veteran.
Tom Funk is a product specialist II for Roeslien. He is working closely with Honor Flight Network to coordinate this event. “It is incredible that we are able to participate in Honor Flight Network’s vision, ‘a nation where all of America’s veterans experience the honor, gratitude and supportive community they deserve.’ ‘ Without them, America would not be possible and Americans would not have the freedoms they carry today.” noted Honor Flight Network, coordinator of the event.
Honor Flight Network’s Lone Eagle Hub honors veterans of all eras. However, it attempts to give priority to those who served during World War II, the period between World War II and the Korean War, the Vietnam War and other conflicts. In addition, the Lone Eagle Hub serves critically ill veterans from all eras of service who are less than one year old.
