The company Ardagh Group S.A., which includes Ardagh Metal Packaging S.A., is a subsidiary of Ardagh Group S.A. and Ardagh Glass Packaging, was awarded the prestigious platinum rating, the highest sustainability rating awarded by EcoVadis.
The Platinum rating recognizes Ardagh’s responsible and sustainable business practices and underscores the scope and ambition of its sustainability efforts. Ardagh is now in the top 1% of companies recognized with a platinum EcoVadis rating.

Together with our recent SBTi approvals, the EcoVadis platinum rating demonstrates how we have integrated sustainability into all aspects of our operations. We really are delivering strong sustainability performance across our business.”said John Sadlier, Sustainability Director of Ardagh Group.
This new rating also identifies the company’s performance and transparency in four areas of evaluation: labor and human rights, environment, sustainable procurement and ethics. Ardagh’s sustainability efforts have also recently been endorsed by the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative for its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. Also Ardagh has a clear objective to align with the UN and the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
