The CANPACK group has once again partnered with BNP Paribas Green Film Festival. This leading international ecological film festival denounces, through the power of film, the serious environmental problems facing the earth driven primarily by human indifference.
This year’s edition, held on August 14, also included a wide variety of ecological workshops, educational meetings, conferences, as well as unique artistic exhibits aimed at improving the quality of life for all.
“We are very proud to once again sponsor this important sustainability festival. This cultural event allows us to raise the profile of the most serious issue facing humanity, namely climate change, while promoting talented artists from around the world,” said Bartłomiej Wojdyło, Deputy Director of Sustainability at CANPACK.
CANPACK also invited attendees to participate in a street art activation in which artists created graffiti murals on a 10-square-meter wall made from more than 50,000 used aluminum cans collected from the Polish market. Supported by the Every Can Counts initiative, the event inspired a new debate on climate change and the creation of a truly circular economy. After the event, all aluminum cans were recycled into new aluminum cans to be back on store shelves in just 60 days.
Piotr Biedroń and Grzegorz Dukielski of the Green Festival Foundation also commented on CANPACK’s support for the festival: “We are delighted to partner with CANPACK again for this year’s festival. With CANPACK, a true advocate of the circular economy, we hope participants will learn more about the benefits of recycling aluminum cans. Thanks to the support and commitment of our sponsors, the festival is going from strength to strength and shows the intensity of the will towards the future of our planet.”
