Mexican tequila distributor Freshie Organic has decided to add one more canned product to the U.S. market to win over customers, Seltzer seltzer seltimaire Freshie Organic, produced by the company to expand its offering.
As part of its novel bet, Freshie wanted to be a brand that shared its drink with consumers, but not only did it feel ethical to hire a corporation that practiced sustainability at levels above and below. Although tequila was the company’s core product, for all that they needed to find the right expertise. Freshie also joined 1% for the Planet, to donate a portion of its proceeds to nonprofit organizations that support the environment, notes Timm Martin, president of Freshie.
The brand is a 100% organic beverage that starts with white tequila from blue agave. Freshie is non-GMO and each drink has 99 calories, 4.7% ABV, and an incredible taste. Freshie is solar-powered and waste-free.
Finally, Freshie is a light, artisanal and organic carbonated tequila drink. When the brand launched in the Chicago area, it challenged the growth of the tequila-based spirits category. This is what motivated the co-founder of the product to establish what the product’s objective was. “Between the growth of the spirits-based carbonated beverage category and the growth of the tequila category, we knew Freshie would appeal to anyone looking for a light, handcrafted and organic tequila carbonated beverage,” concludes its co-founder.
