A plane from Germany carrying more than 31 tons of powdered baby milk powder recently landed in the United States, following a major shortage in distribution centers, supermarkets and supermarkets.
The flight departed from Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, filled with Nestlé brand baby formula, landing in Indiana. This is the first shipment of powdered milk that is expected to arrive in the country from Europe in the coming weeks to meet the demand for powdered milk.
For several months, the United States has been experiencing a shortage of infant milk due to supply and labor problems linked to Covid-19. This situation has been aggravated again by the closure, last February, of an Abbott factory in Michigan, after some of its products were recalled by the authorities on suspicion of having caused the death of two babies.
