New experiences for new times in which the consumer is the absolute protagonist. Virgin Atlantic has just launched a new leisure experience that includes private dinners, wine and cognac tastings available exclusively on its A350 aircraft. .

The experiences for two have been designed for leisure guests and will be available inside The Booth in the Upper Class cabin, the social space that replaced the former The Loft. The airline first announced the new space in September last year. Virgin’s London Heathrow-Orlando route will be the first and is the first time canned wines will be served in Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class cabin.

The wine tasting features three wines (an English white and a rosé, along with a spritzer) from The Uncommon, which produces English wine in cans that is locally grown and sustainably made. Other experiences include private dining or ‘Game Time’ where customers compete with their travel companion using the airline’s exclusive cards. The airline says it expects to launch more experiences across its fleet in the coming months.

Corneel Koster, Virgin Atlantic’s chief operating and customer officer, notes that “we always strive to create brilliant and different experiences for our customers and The Booth presentation demonstrates this perfectly.”
