Aludium, the leading supplier of aluminum alloys used in the manufacture of closures and bottle caps, has just done its bit to help send humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees.
In particular, a total of four tons of humanitarian aid has been sent from Bilbao to the Polish border, thanks to an initiative that has brought together several associations, companies and neighbors, in which Aludium and several of its workers have done their bit. The company has provided shipping coordination, transportation logistics and costs, one of the main obstacles that arose.
This new entity encompasses Alcoa’s three former factories in Spain and France, as well as a state-of-the-art aluminum research and development center in Spain. These facilities have been merged under the Aludium brand thanks to the initiative of Atlas Holdings, a global industrial group dedicated solely and exclusively to the promotion of growing industrial companies with a long-term investment horizon.
