OCA, is a unique plant-based energy drink that works with tapioca, a yucca root extract native to the Amazon. It has just announced its foray into the U.S. market with Kroger, one of the largest supermarket chains in the United States.

Along with the launch, OCA has also announced that it will be launching a new flavor, pear-lime, which will be available exclusively at Kroger locations nationwide. The new flavor is the newest addition to the brand’s wide variety of exotic flavors, including mango, guava-passion fruit and berry-acaí.

Unlike other drinks with chemical compounds, OCA is a natural energy drink whose star ingredient is tapioca, an extract from the cassava root. In addition, the drink is organic, vegan, gluten-free and low in sugar, with natural caffeine. The brand has opted for Pear and Lime as the star flavors to reach key cities in the competitive North American market.
