The Brazilian Aerosol Association (ABAS) has a new president. Alyne Freitas Silva has been elected to head the Brazilian association. This is the first time in the organization’s history that a woman has held the position.

Freitas Silva was elected after a meeting held on October 8, with the proposal to bring greater dynamism and renewal in the treatment of issues related to the markets represented by the association.

In difficult times of the pandemic, and after the death of two previous presidents of the association, Antal György Almásy and José Maria Granço, Freitas Silva emphasizes that “the challenge is to make the association as strong as the power of its market, bring new energy with a committed team, and promote the intense networking of renowned professionals in the Brazilian market”.
