A huge amount of money in the form of cans of spam, a staple item for food preparation in Hawaii, have been earmarked to donate to people who have been affected by the devastating wildfires on Maui.

It has just been announced that more than $1 million from the U.S. military’s arsenal of Spam products will be sent to Maui to fight the wildfires that have been ravaging the region for the past several months.
