Torus Technology Group has announced its expansion into South America. Specifically, the company will begin its foray into the South American continent with the opening of an office and spare parts warehouse in Vila Madalena, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The new office will facilitate the warehousing and distribution of spare parts to Torus Measurement Systems’ customers throughout Brazil and South America and will also act as a base for the service team, strengthening Torus’ existing presence in the region.

The company also confirms that it is working in conjunction with Brazil-based import specialists Novatrade to facilitate the employment of additional service engineers and increase service capacity to assist South American customers. Novatrade will also facilitate the import and distribution of spare parts in Brazil and South America to reduce delivery times for measurement parts.

Dominic Johnson, managing director of Torus Technology Group notes that the new office is a big step in providing the best possible service to customers in South America. «Having service engineers located locally with access to spare parts within a warehouse in Brazil will mean faster response times for our customers in this growing market. Our customers in South America are expanding rapidly, so it is important that we expand our capabilities with them,» he adds.

Torus Technology Group is responsible for providing industrial measurement, metrology and support solutions to global industries, from its European headquarters in Telford, Shropshire, UK, in North America through its offices in Denver, Colorado, USA, as well as support presence throughout Europe and Asia.
